Reiki does not need physical contact or presence to ‘work’ and although ‘physicality’ is a lovely element to add to the experience of receiving reiki and the better known way of receiving reiki, it is possible to receive the flow of reiki without physical contact or presence from wherever you are in the world!
You can buy a gift card for yourself or a loved one to redeem at a time to suit you; distance reiki can be received by you at any time, however, in my experience, if the recipient chooses a time to receive the reiki when they are able to rest and relax for at least 30 minutes to an hour then they will be more able to tune into themselves and really feel the benefit.
Distance Reiki means that you can receive Reiki from wherever you are in the world; whether in person or from a distance, Reiki works in the same way - a connection between the Reiki therapist & the recipient allows for the flow of Reiki to be directed towards the recipient.
The ‘connection’ is simply formed by ‘intention’ - the Reiki therapist intends to direct the flow and the recipient intends to receive. Through distance Reiki you will experience the many benefits of this gentle and ancient energy; working on all levels of your being, Reiki will work for your highest and greatest good.
